Volunteers from France
Simon Le Menn has volunteered in the last 2 year, he is now the leader of the volunteering program at the university. Thanks to his effort, the French City Hall donated 900 Euros to the construction of a library at Thien Binh. The program has expanded, three volunteer groups will stay at Tu Hanh and Thien Binh orphanages. The First group, 5 female students, stays at Tu Hanh from July 10 to 23, the second group, 4 female students, stays from July 23 to August 5. Another group, led by Simon, stays at Thien Binh orphanage from July 10 to 28. The children at Thien Binh are excited to spend many fun days with the students. The children at Tu Hanh will experience many fun events with the university students. The fun trips include Suoi Tien, pool, and visiting Tay Ninh.

Our annual trip to Vietnam
From 6/24 - 7/4, we visited the orphanages during our annual trip to Vietnam to visit. As in previous years, we brought gifts to the children who excelled in last school year. This year, we took 71 children and caretakers from Từ Hạnh and Vĩnh Phước on a trip to Mui Ne for 3 days. We stayed at the Tâm & Cọt Resort (Sands Garden). The activities included sand sliding, beach, beach soccer, pool, night stroll through town, and campfire. We received additional donations from Tam & Cot, the resort owners, and guests.

Orphan Scholarship Program

H4VO is working with Hoà Bình Xuân Lộc School to provide scholarship for orphans from our sponsored orphanage to get vocational training or college scholarship or both. The student can start the program at 10th grade to study both vocational (19 job types) and academic program. The student will graduate high school with High School Diploma and Job Certification. The student can choose to continue study for Engineering or other discipline degree (6 subjects). This is boarding school and runs by Catholic priests with 200+ teachers and professors. Two students from Thien Binh had completed the program and currently have full time jobs.
